Fada Radio model 660, 1954
This is possibly the last model Fada radio that was made.
They're usually found with the rear stamped model number faded and illegible.
This example is maroon plastic, the model 660M.
It was also available in ivory with gold grille the model 660V, and the model 660E in ebony with silver grille.
Another version was made with an alarm clock mounted on the left side, the FADA model 200.
The same three colors were available; the model 200V was ivory with gold grille, the model 200E was ebony with silver grille,
and the model 200M was Maroon with gold grille.
Helping me first ID this radio was an ex FADA distributor who emailed me, "This is a model 660.
These were the last new radios that FADA produced and were made in 1954 & 1955.
They came in Ebony, Ivory, and Maroon with a gold grille on the Maroon & Ivory, Silver on the Ebony models.
There was a very good looking replacement for the 790 scheduled but they ran out of money before it went into production.
As an ex FADA distributor I saw these items at the plant in 1953/54."
Schematics and service information for the model 660 and 200 have still not been located.
