This is the Fada model 790 with a beautifully rounded white plaskon cabinet
that measures approximately 14.5 x 8.5 x 7 inches.
It included both AM and FM bands and was made circa 1949.
A brown walnut cabinet was also a choice.
It went through chassis revisions including the model 790 series B.
The cabinet design is a revival from a Fada pre-war design.
It was first offered in 1942 as the model 256 series, an AM / Shortwave radio.
