This is the white plaskon model 6000 in Remler's Scottie series, made in the late '40s, a later version of the MP5-5-3. It featured a drop-down handle behind the dial. This feature caused cracks at the rear corners of the dial and is very rarely found without this damage. This version did not have the California stationized dial scale and used 12 volt tubes. Elmer Cunningham founded Remler Radio in 1918 in San Francisco. He named the company by spelling his first name backwards, and adding a "R" at the end for "Radios".
