Setchell Carlson Radio model 416 Frog Eyes, blue plaskon

The Setchell Carlson model 416 was made from blue plaskon in 1946.
The thumbwheel knob design has led to the radio's nickname, "Frog Eyes".
The cabinet continues around the back with its upside-down chassis accessible from the bottom.
Other color combinations were offered; including a strange gray with maroon trim option
- and this highly sought-after blue / white trim version.
The St. Paul, Minnesota radio maker also sold this cabinet with a different speaker grille to another
retailer with their "Co-Op" brand name put on the radio dial, seen below.
Coin-op versions for motels and hospitals were also made.
