Zenith model 6-D-312, factory-painted bakelite cabinet with pushbuttons, 1938.
The Zenith 5R312 uses the same cabinet, but with a 5 tube transformer chassis.
The 6D312 has a 6 tube chassis which included a ballast "tube" design
without a heavy transformer.
