Truetone
This is a parts or restoration set, hence the price...Yet it displays very nicely as it is. There are 2 hairlines and a chipped chassis hole, see photos (closeup 1, closeup 2 , closeup 3). No back, the dial cover is good, a little warped, as is the somewhat faded dial. Good pointer and original knobs. The chassis is in excellent condition, see photos (chassis photo 1, chassis photo 2). Parts alone are well worth the asking price.

Sentinel 284
Red & pumpkin catalin Sentinel 284. Beautifully marbled with yellow swirls in the red catalin. The radio is not for the perfectionist, but very nice, and displays beautifully. Here is an example you can get for less than 1/2 the price of a $2000+ perfect one. There is a short hairline and a couple small dings on the left side - see photos. The hidden bottom peg on the right side of the grill is off, but still in the groove. The other light scratches should buff out. The grill cloth and dial glass need to be replaced and one inside chassis screw hole is chipped. The ac cord has been cut, and I couldn't remove the chassis, so left it alone. Please examine all the photos. photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, photo 5, photo 6a, photo 6b, photo 7, photo 8, photo 9, photo 10, photo 11, photo 12, photo 13, photo 14, photo 15

ARIA
Quite a radio - Motorized Pushbutton Tuning, Magic Eye Tube, beautiful large colorful dial. The grillcloth has been replaced, one missing pushbutton. The top and front of the cabinet seems to have been refinished at some time, and not that well as there is some rippling in the veneer. 'Plugged it in and the radio dial lit up nicely, the tuning eye was bright green, the motorized tuning worked well, some static and a hum, and with some real tweaking, I was finally able to pull in a station, but it was weak. The chassis is in excellent condition. A copy of the schematics and motorized tuning alignment instructions is with the radio. The radio needs some TLC - a great project radio, hence the price... Radio weighs 26 lbs (Unpacked) and measures 21"Wide x 12"High x 8.5"Deep. Please see the additional photos: Aria-1.jpg, Aria-2.jpg, Aria-3.jpg

Beautiful black & white bakelite 1937 Airzone tombstone. An Aussie Classic! The fancy grill has been nicely repaired at one time (see photo) and the cabinet has a couple very minor hairlines.
