(Plus other Black Hills Music festivals and concerts from the past)
The annual Deadwood Jam began in 1991 in Deadwood, South Dakota.
Great music was brought into the Black Hills by so many great bands over the years
to this outdoor music festival in downtown Deadwood.
I searched on line for past Deadwood Jam band line-ups, found almost nothing, so
I thought it would be nice to share my old clippings and concert guides
with others looking for Deadwood Jam history.
It begins with a poster for the 1st annual Deadwood Jam in 1991,
credited to the Deadwood Jam Facebook page.
I'm still looking for the 2nd annual Deadwood Jam line-up.
Then, what I have to share are my scans from what I collected during the concerts
and begins with a couple articles from the 3rd annual Deadwood Jam,
and band line-ups, reviews and photos thru the 15th Deadwood Jam (plus the 18th)
The Deadwood Jam continues today and in 2024
The Deadwood Jam became an inductee into the South Dakota Rock and Rollers Hall of Fame
for its contribution of bringing amazing talent to the Black Hills. READ MORE
